In 1963 Neville and Marie McWaters commenced trading as N & M McWaters Electrical Contractors and over the years found its commercial based operations moved towards the rapidly growing computer industry. They were involved in the first main frame computer installation in St Georges Terrace, Perth for the Bureau of Census and Statistics, In the early eighties the name changed to Compuroom Services.
With the name change Compuroom Services developed into the design and construction of total computer environments. This growth market incorporatedbuilding, access flooring, air conditioning, electrical, data, fibre optics, fire systems, and environmental monitoring.
